YOUR WORKSHOP HOST

Hi, I’m Catherine.
Let’s try it together.

I’m Catherine Chan, Chief Curiosity Officer at Experimental AI Lab and former Chief of Staff at Monoova, an Australian financial technology company that helps businesses automate payments.

I spent almost a decade working across client services, product and strategy, connecting business, technology and people.

Now, I build and test small AI tools for everyday life and work. In this workshop, I’ll help you choose a useful starting point, give it a go, and leave with something you can actually use.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Before you have a go.

Do I need to know anything about AI or coding?

No. This is for beginners, including people who have tried AI a little. We’ll start with the basics and choose a task that fits your experience.

When and where is it happening?

The workshop will be in person in Sydney and run for two hours. Dates and venue are being planned. Join the waitlist and I’ll share the details when they’re ready.

How much will it cost?

This will be a paid workshop. Pricing is still being finalised and will be shared before you decide whether to book. Joining the waitlist is free and involves no payment or commitment.

What should I bring? Do I need a paid AI account?

Bring your laptop, charger and whichever AI tool you already use. Free accounts are welcome for the basics. If you’d like to explore automation or more advanced activities, I recommend a paid plan for your chosen tool. Some activities may also need additional tools.

What will I leave with?

A manageable first version of something useful, such as a reusable prompt or task helper, and a clear next step. What you build will depend on your task, the tools and the time available.

Can I bring a task from work?

Yes, if your organisation permits it. Remove or replace personal and confidential details, and use approved tools. Realistic dummy data works well. We’ll practise checking AI output before relying on it.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

I’ll use your interests and availability to help plan the workshop, then email you when dates, venue and pricing are ready. You can decide whether to book then. Joining the waitlist does not reserve a place, and you can ask to be removed at any time.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Sounds like your
kind of workshop?

Join the waitlist and tell me what you’d like to try. I’ll email you when dates, venue and pricing are ready.
